What would you do?

A question I have been asking myself a lot lately...

What would I do if I thought that I couldn't fail? If no one would judge me?

How would I act? What would I do? What would be different?

I sit and wait for the answer and nothing big or dramatic comes to me...

My answer is simply that:

I'd just be...me,

but without the worry.

Distraction.

Having something to distract you can really help when you find your mood spiralling.

Do something easy or something that you enjoy.

It could be something as simple as weeding your garden – it is actually so therapeutic and doesn’t take much concentration.

Emotional distress causes horrible sensations to the body so it’s important to find different activities or “distractions” that can ease some of the pain and give you some relief throughout the day.

Read a book, start a hobby, do something artistic, call a friend, bake a cake.

Whatever works...

I find that distraction works really well in taking my mind off of whatever is going on.

Find a distraction that works for you.
